Sugarfoot BBQ is always a family favorite! We love the fry seasoning, and you can't go wrong with burnt ends or pulled pork. There was a bit of a line and a wait, but thats okay, we found our seats easily.
Very good BBQ. Loved the baked beans! Probably best I ever had anywhere in the country, (with the caveat) that I was craving smoky BBQ. They were the smokiest tasting thing on my plate. Also really quite sweet. Might not enjoy it as much another day. Was working well with the bland potato salad and the tartness of lemonade But #1 were the Taters. AWESOME I think they dice up a baked potato to be like American fries and then flash fry them. They come out super fast. Really crispy on the outside with large grain (sea salt?)?. Inside is soft. Parts where skin falls loose tastes like Tater skins. FOUR meat platter with 3 sides (I believe) was 24. Good amount of leftovers. I have driven by for years without stopping. Don't think I ever will again if I am in BBQ mood. Been a couple years, since through there,, didn't remember the overpass or the business being right there. Great deal on their sauces and rubs. Buy one get one. Some Truck parking. Please don't abuse it if your not eating there.
We were traveling through and gave Sugarfoot BBQ a whirl. Big menu, attentive service, quick and tasty. My chocolate shake was a great add on to my sandwich and salad. We stopped around 12:30 lunch time, busy, but they keep up. The blackberry pie looked amazing, next time! A very nice convenience store beside them. Worth the stop again.
Wow! This place is a true gem. I stopped by to get some BBQ for a family dinner when I got back to KC. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the place was bustling around lunchtime on both Saturday and Sunday. The food was absolutely amazing! I chose four meats: turkey, pulled pork, beef burnt ends, and smoked sausage. Since I bought 3 lbs of meat, I also received a bottle of their BBQ sauce. The turkey was moist and very flavorful. The pulled pork and smoked sausage were also moist and delicious. But the beef burnt ends were the standout—hands down the best I’ve ever had. Incredible! I highly recommend stopping here to enjoy their fantastic smoked meats. The BBQ sauce had a sweet, hickory flavor. Very good stuff!
This is a great place to eat when passing through. Big restaurant with plenty of tables and clean bathrooms. The brisket and the chickens amazing and the fries will make you want to do a double order.
First time to visit a Roadside southern Missouri barbecue. The young staff were very pleasant. Service was very quick. I had the burnt end and they were OK. Very tender, and properly rendered, but served in a sea of grease. The beans were surprisingly smoky, although they looked like they were out of a can, the flavor was delicious. Potato salad. The chicken was delicious and moist and tender. The deep fried potatoes were excellent. The star of the show was the homemade blackberry pie. The crust was crispy and tender. shake was excellent as well. Stop by and give them a visit. Note, I still have a hard time with tipping Riley do all the service. Orders are placed at the counter, they have the food prepared for you by the time you’re there to pay. And you bust your own table. If I have to stand at the counter and order. No tip.
Great BBQ. The only complaint is that I ordered food to take home and when it was ready they left it sitting instead of bringing it to me and I waited for 20 min. Otherwise great place.
Wow! What an awesome find! Super good food! The pies looked amazing.. but I was too full to try them. Very friendly staff. Stop here if you can.. it’ll be worth it!
